Holders of "LAISSEZ PASSER" – passport of United Nations are not subject to visa requirement for stays not exceeding 30 days or while carrying out the official assignment.  

 Recognised refugees and stateless persons who are holders of travel document for refugees “TRAVEL DOCUMENT” which is travel document bearing the text “Laissez passer” according Geneva Convention of 28 July 1951” or travel document issued to stales persons according the New York Convection of 28 September 1954 and have residence in one of following countries: EEA member states, Andorra, Argentina, Australia, Brasilia, Brunei, Canada, Chile, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Vatican, Honduras, Israel, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, Monaco, New Zeeland, Nicaragua, Palau, Panama, Paraguay, Salvador, Singapore, South Korea, United States of America, Uruguay, Venezuela, United Arab Emirates, are not subject to visa requirement.

Nationals of members of NATO or Partnership for Peace entering the territory of Slovak Republic as:

- members of armed forces and holders of identification cards that includes a photograph and issued by sending country or holders 
  of individual or collective movement orders issued by sending country
- members of civil units and dependant persons of above mentioned member of armed forces while carrying out a movement order.

Following categories of persons are also exempt from visa requirement:  British citizens who are not nationals of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland for purposes of Community law, British Nationals - Overseas
