Modification of conditions for the admission of third-country nationals into the Schengen area valid from 19th July 2013
Regulation (EU) No 610/2013 amending Regulation (EC) No 562/2006 - Schengen Borders Code entered into force on 19 July 2013.
The Amendment of Art. 5 of the Schengen Borders Code introduces new conditions for admission of third-country nationals to the territory of the Member States of the Schengen area on production of a valid travel document when crossing the external borders, which must be
- Valid until at least three months after the intended date of departure from the territory of the Member States
- Issued within the previous 10 years.
