 Suspension of implementation of the Agreement between the Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and the Government of the People's Democratic Republic of Yemen on the visa waiver for nationals of Contracting States (holders of diplomatic, service or special passports), force 19.06.2018

Holders of "LAISSEZ PASSER" – passport of United Nations are not subject to visa requirement for stays not exceeding 30 days or while carrying out the official assignment.  

The application of the exemption from the visa requirement, provided for in Article 4(1) of Regulation (EU) 2018/1806, with regard to holders of ordinary passports issued by Vanuatu as of 25 May 2015, is temporarily suspended (Art 1 of the Council Implementing Regulation (EU) 2022/693). 

This regime shall apply from 4 May 2022 to 3 February 2023. 

In line with Art 2 of the Council Implementing Regulation (EU) 2022/693 holders of passports issued by Vanuatu falling within the scope of Article 1 and having entered the EU before the date of entry into force of this Regulation may continue their stay in the EU and exit without a visa. This does not apply to the crossing of temporary external borders, as defined in Article 2, point c of Regulation (EU) No 515/2014, after the date of entry into force of this Regulation. 

Recognised refugees and stateless persons who are holders of travel document for refugees “TRAVEL DOCUMENT” which is travel document bearing the text “Laissez passer” according Geneva Convention of 28 July 1951” or travel document issued to stales persons according the New York Convection of 28 September 1954 and have residence in one of following countries: EEA member states, Andorra, Argentina, Australia, Brasilia, Brunei, Canada, Chile, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Vatican, Honduras, Israel, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, Monaco, New Zeeland, Nicaragua, Palau, Panama, Paraguay, Salvador, Singapore, United States of America, Uruguay, Venezuela, United Arab Emirates, are not subject to visa requirement. This does not apply to holders of refugee passports issued by Ireland, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, for whom the visa regime continues to apply.

Nationals of members of NATO or Partnership for Peace entering the territory of Slovak Republic as:

  • members of armed forces and holders of identification cards that includes a photograph and issued by sending country or holders of individual or collective movement orders issued by sending country
  • members of civil units and dependant persons of above mentioned member of armed forces while carrying out a movement order.

Following categories of persons are also exempt from visa requirement:  British citizens who are not nationals of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland for purposes of Community law, British Nationals - Overseas
