Publikačná etika

Časopis Slovenská archivistika (ďalej len „SA“) dbá na dodržiavanie všeobecne platných noriem publikačnej etiky. Ich rešpektovanie je povinnosťou pre každého autora vedeckej publikácie.

Autorstvo publikácie

Autor príspevku ponúknutého časopisu SA zodpovedá za správnosť a úplnosť kontaktných údajov (adresa pracoviska, e-mailový kontakt). Zodpovedá aj za pravdivé uvádzanie spoluautorstva príspevku, teda uvedenie všetkých autorov práce alebo jej časti. Autor je povinný upozorniť na akýkoľvek stret záujmov (personálny konflikt záujmov, finančné záujmy a i.). Zodpovedá aj za uvedenie o prípadných zdrojov finančnej podpory a za uvedenie údajov o projekte, v rámci riešenia ktorého príspevok vznikol.

Opakované použitie dát

Autor príspevku nesmie príspevok ponúknuť súčasne viacerým vydavateľom. Autor môže osloviť nového vydavateľa až po zamietnutí uverejnenia príspevku pôvodne osloveným vydavateľom. Autor sa zaväzuje, že ponúknutý príspevok nebol doposiaľ v akejkoľvek forme publikovaný a ani sa nenachádza v recenznom konaní v inom periodiku. Autor sa zaväzuje, že ponúknutý text nie je poskladaný z častí jeho predošlých príspevkov bez podstatného prepracovania alebo doplnenia. Ak autor ponúka redakcii prepracovaný príspevok, v jeho texte musí byť uvedená informácia o pôvodnom príspevku a zdôvodnenie opätovného publikovania (t. j. vyjadrenie konkrétneho posunu v poznaní a pod.).

Plagiátorstvo

Autor príspevku sa zaväzuje, že pri jeho tvorbe sa zdržal akéhokoľvek preberania dát iného autora bez uvedenia ich zdroja, pričom dátami sa myslia nie len konkrétne údaje, informácie a texty, ale aj myšlienky alebo koncepcie. Autor sa musí zdržať kopírovania textu práce iného autora bez uvedenia zdroja a publikovania cudzieho textu pod svojím menom.

Oprava pochybení

Autor sa zaväzuje, že ak po publikovaní príspevku dodatočne zistí nedostatky, pochybenia pri vzniku príspevku alebo chyby v príspevku, bude kontaktovať redakciu s cieľom ich odstránenia. Redakcia sa zaväzuje uverejniť prípadné opravy, ospravedlnenia a pod.

Autor sa zaväzuje, že bude dodržiavať aj ostatné všeobecne platné normy publikačnej etiky, ktoré sú stanovené Comitee on Publication Ethics:

Publication Ethics

The journal Slovenská archivistika (hereinafter reffered to as “SA”) ensures compliance with generally valid standards of publication ethics. Respecting them is mandatory for every author of a scientific publication.

Authorship of the Publication

The author of the offered article to SA journal is responsible for the correctness and completness of the contact information (workplace address, e-mail contact). The author is also responsible for the truthful indication of the co-authorship of the article, thus the indication of all authors of the work or a part thereof. The author is obliged to draw attention to any conflict of interests (personnel, financial, etc.). He/she is also responsible for indicating prospective sources of financial support and for providing information about the project of which the contribution arose. 

Data reuse

The author of the article is not allowed to offer the article to more than one publisher at once. The author can contact other publisher after declining the publishing of his article from the originally contacted publisher. The author commits that the offered text hasn´t yet been published in any form and is not in the review process in other journal. The author undertakes that the offered text is not composed of parts of his/her previous works without substantial revision or addition. If the offered article is of the revised character, the text must contain information about the original paper and rationale for  its republishing (ie. statement of specific advancement in knowledge, etc.).

 Plagiarism

The author of the article undertakes that he refrained from taking data and work of other authors without giving them credit, while data means not only specific information and texts but also ideas or concepts. The author must refrain from copying the text of another author´s work without mentioning the source and publishing someone else´s text under his/her own name.  

 Correction of mistakes

The author undertakes that if, after the publication, he additionally finds deficiencies or mistakes in the contribution, he contacts the editors in order to remove them. The editors undertake to publish any corrections, excuses, etc.

The author undertakes to comply with other generally applicable standards of publication ethics, set by the Comitee on Publication Ethics:
